MUSCAT : Running from August 25 to August 29, 2024, this initiative aims to ensure the proper handling of food and adherence to stringent health and hygiene standards.
The campaign focuses on ensuring the correct handling of food within these establishments, verifying the compliance of workers with personal hygiene requirements, checking that restaurants and cafes are free from rodents and insects, and confirming that all health requirements and controls are implemented effectively.
Inspectors will visit not less than 200 food establishments during this period, evaluating their operations to maintain high standards of public health and safety.
