MUSCAT : Prospective students can apply directly through Qatar University’s official website at qu.edu.qa. The application period aligns with the university’s calendar, so watch their site for deadlines. Applications are open for the spring semester of 2025, which falls in the second academic year 2024/2025.
The scholarships cover a variety of disciplines, including the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Management and Economics, College of Law, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, and College of Education.
Applicants need a general education certificate or its equivalent from Oman with a minimum average of 80%. They must also meet the specific admission criteria for their chosen college.

Awardees will benefit from tuition fee waivers, student housing (with two students per room), and transportation to and from the campus. Additionally, successful candidates will receive a monthly allowance after final approval from the Ministry.
Once accepted by Qatar University, students should send their documents to the Omani Embassy in Qatar and request continued study approval through the Ministry’s website at moheri.gov.om. Priority will be given to those with the highest average scores.
