Muscat – “The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion has recently observed that some local agents registered in the Register of Agents and Commercial Agencies have not been complying with the requirements to renew or update their commercial agency registrations. Additionally, some traders have been engaging in commercial agency activities without registering them with the Ministry, which constitutes a violation of the Commercial Agencies Law issued by Royal Decree No. 77/26,” stated a Ministry notice.
The Ministry stresses the importance of complying with the provisions of this law to prevent any legal violations or consequences. All affected parties are advised to promptly address their registration status to ensure full legal compliance.
