Muscat – The municipality addressed issues related to general hygiene and food safety. It confirmed that violations, including non-compliance with hygiene requirements and unauthorized animal slaughtering, have been addressed. Activities involved in these violations have been halted, and the individuals responsible have been referred for legal action.

Regarding the video clip highlighting carts and food stalls near Khor Al-Dhahariz, the municipality announced plans for the site’s development and improvement in the near future. A campaign has been implemented to remove random camps, and work is underway to find appropriate alternatives in accordance with the laws.

The municipality also responded to comments about private sector activities, affirming that it monitors and addresses violations of public morals and societal values, having already stopped certain activities deemed inappropriate.

Dhofar Municipality reiterated its commitment to ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of residents and visitors and expressed appreciation for the public’s engagement and vigilance.
