MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed that no cases of monkeypox have been recorded in Oman so far.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared mpox outbreak in Africa a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC).
In a statement issued Oman’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said it is following up on developments regarding the disease after the World Health Organization declared mpox a public health emergency.
