MUSCAT : This initiative, open to Omani companies with experience in mineral sector projects, aims to bolster local industries by offering domestic mining opportunities within the general site in the Wilayat of Thummrit (No. GS-0000004).
The sites, covering an area of approximately 27 square kilometers, are situated 14 kilometers south of Thumrait and 55 kilometers north of Salalah. Preliminary studies for the area have already been completed by the Ministry.
The auction is now open for bids via the Taqa platform (https://taqa.mem.gov.om/emining). Interested parties can view the available opportunities and submit their proposals starting today. The specific site numbers up for auction include:
