MUSCAT : The initiative, which will continue until August 20, is structured to offer visitors and residents a unique perspective of the Dhofar Governorate.
The event aims to promote aerial sports as a mainstream activity, boost tourism, and raise awareness about environmental sustainability. Paragliding, kite flying, and drone demonstrations will be showcased, allowing participants to experience the breathtaking beauty of Dhofar from new heights.
Ahmed bin Zaher Al Alawi, Chairman of the Oman Air Sports Committee, emphasized the event’s educational component, including workshops on drone photography and climate-related experiments.
The event also offers unique opportunities to engage with astronomy and communication technologies.
Attendees will be able to view solar movements through live broadcasts from the Al Howqain Astronomical Observatory.
Participants can also connect with international stations through wireless broadcasting devices, facilitated by experts in the field.
