Muscat: By mitigating commercial and non-commercial risks, Credit Oman empowers businesses to sell confidently and explore diverse international markets.

According to recent statistics, Muscat Governorate led the way with RO 140 million in insured sales by the end of last year. The credit ceilings granted in Muscat amounted to nearly RO 101 million, benefiting 52 clients.

North Al Batinah Governorate ranks second, recording RO 135 million in insured sales. The credit ceilings in this region totalled approximately RO 71 million, with 17 beneficiaries. This surge is attributed to the new Credit Oman office in North Al Batinah, established in collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The region’s economic promise, bolstered by the Sohar Industrial Zone and Sohar Port, played a key role in this growth.

Dhofar Governorate saw insured sales of RO 43 million and credit ceilings of RO 17 million, reflecting the expanding impact of Credit Oman’s services.

Overall, the total value of insured sales for exports and local goods reached a record 356 million Omani riyals by the end of 2023.
