MUSCAT : The “Nawafidh Park” in Itin Plain, Salalah, is making waves as a key marketing initiative to elevate small and medium enterprises. Now in its third edition, this initiative offers a dedicated space for entrepreneurs to display their products and engage with visitors, running through mid-September.

Abdul Hakeem bin Amer Al Hadari, Assistant Director of the Department of Small and Medium Enterprises Development in Dhofar Governorate, highlighted the initiative’s dual goals: supporting and promoting local projects during the Dhofar Autumn Season 2024. “Nawafidh Park” features 38 mobile carts offering a variety of food and beverages alongside entertainment events and public facilities to enhance the visitor experience.
The site, fully equipped by Dhofar Municipality in partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department, aims to boost local economic activity by providing entrepreneurs a platform to market their products. Al Hadari also noted that the initiative supports entrepreneurs participating in various Dhofar Khareef events across Salalah and Taqah, including popular spots like Wadi Darbat and Raysut Beach.
