Muscat – As per the forecast, there are chances of intermittent drizzle and isolated rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, in Dhofar Governorate.
The rest of the country is expected to have clear skies, with chances of isolated rain of varying intensity, particularly over the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas. These showers could be accompanied by strong downdraft winds and hail.
Low-level clouds or fog patches are likely to form along parts of the Arabian Sea and Oman Sea coastlines. Additionally, dust is expected to rise over desert and open areas, reducing horizontal visibility.
The Met office has issued an alert advising people to exercise caution due to reduced visibility caused by dust, fog, and rain.
Meanwhile, cloud formation continues over Oman’s northern governorates, with low clouds or fog developing along the Arabian Sea coast.
