DHAKA: Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, a pioneer in micro-finance will oversee an interim government, the President of Bangladesh announced the appointment.
The announcement comes after Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, resigned and fled the country amid protests.
The announcement late on Tuesday came from Joynal Abedin, the press secretary of President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
