Muscat: The Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command recently arrested five Asian nationals involved in a sophisticated electronic fraud operation.
The suspects were caught contacting several expatriates, falsely claiming to be telecommunications company employees, and convincing them to complete transactions via their phones. Legal procedures are now underway against the arrested individuals.
