MUSCAT: The Aqbat Al Amerat Road (Amerat-Bausher Mountain road) will be closed for 48 hours starting Friday, July 26, due to maintenance, the Muscat Municipality said on Thursday.
In a statement issued, Municipality said the road will be closed “for those travelling from Bausher towards Al Amerat for 48 hours to clear the rockfall protection nets.”
“This closure will begin on Friday morning, 26 July 2024, at 5:00 AM and continue until Sunday morning, 28 July 2024. Muscat Municipality urges everyone to exercise caution, follow the on-site traffic instructions, and use the alternative Wadi Adai Road,” the statement added.
