MUSCAT : The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has successfully apprehended four individuals of Arab nationality involved in a counterfeit currency scheme.
These suspects were found in possession of large denominations of counterfeit foreign currencies and were caught after defrauding a local citizen by convincing him to exchange the fake currencies for RO 10,000. Legal procedures have been completed against the arrested individuals.
