MUSCAT: Omanis planning to travel to Mecca to perform Haj can register their application at www.hajj.om which will be open from March 13 onwards, the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs (MERA) announced.
According to the Ministry, registration conditions include that an applicant must not be younger than 18 years old.
“For non-Omani residents, their period of stay in the Sultanate must be at least one year, and they must prove that they have not travelled for Haj from the Sultanate earlier,” the statement added.
