MUSCAT: As coronavirus cases in the country continues to rise, 16 people have died battling the virus in the last five days.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health, a total of 67 people had died by June 4. By Tuesday, June 9, the death toll has reached 83.
Among the 83 cases, 53 are expatriates and 30 are Omanis.

Meanwhile, of the total 18,198 infected cases in the country, 11,107 are expats, while 7,091 are Omanis.
