MUSCAT: Salam Air’s first charter flight to India took-off today at 8am, carrying 180 stranded passengers on-board.
The repatriation flight chartered by KMCC included 61 patients, 17 infants, 24 pregnant women, and 24 people whose visa was expired based on the Indian embassy registrations.
It is worth noting that despite being a charter flight, KMCC had kept a minimum flight charge of OMR 75 per passenger.

All the chartering facilities was done by Alhind Travel and Tours.
Meanwhile, the second charter flight, by Indigo, will carry 180 Indians to Kozhikode from Muscat International Airport at 10 am on Saturday.
