MUSCAT : The Ministry of Labour, through its Directorate General of Labour in Dhofar Governorate, conducted inspection campaigns in the region during the first half of July. This concerted effort resulted in the arrest of 232 violators.
144 individuals were found in specialized professions among those apprehended, underscoring the breadth of the crackdown. The arrests included 29 delivery representatives, 70 incense and frankincense sellers, 9 hotel reception clerks, 18 street vendors, and 15 individuals working in car rentals.
