MUSCAT: The Public Prosecution in the country has clarified on fines against violating the Supreme Committee’s decisions in the wake of coronavirus outbreak in the country.
On Thursday, the country’s Attorney General Nasr Al Sawai explained the fines against the violations.
- OMR 200 for for refraining from conducting the coronavirus tests.
- OMR 1,500 for violating the decision and attending gatherings, including Eid gatherings, weddings’ gatherings, funerals’ gatherings, places of worship gatherings, and other types of gatherings.
- OMR 200 for violating home and institutional quarantine.
- OMR 100 for individuals violating decisions participating in gatherings.
- OMR 20 for not wearing masks while in public.
- OMR 3,000 for non-compliance with the closure of shops that the committee decided to close.
- OMR 300 for refraining from wearing or damage of the tracking bracelet.
