MUSCAT: Four people were killed and several others were injured in shooting incident in Al Wadi Al Kabir in Muscat Governorate, the Royal Oman Police has confirmed on Tuesday.
In a statement issued, ROP stated that “all security measures were taken to deal with the situation.”
“The Royal Oman Police dealt with a shooting incident in the vicinity of a mosque in Al Wadi Al Kabir area which resulted in the death of four people and injuring several people according to a preliminary information,” ROP said in the statement.

ROP also stated that “it is investigating the incident and procedures for collecting the evidence.”
