Muscat – The meeting will focus on topics relevant to strengthening SAI ICT. The program includes a number of topics, the most important of which are discussions on the results of the evaluation of participating agencies.
The discussion will highlight strengths and weaknesses in IT governance, assessing the effectiveness of ICT strategy and ensuring the availability of support for its implementation, as well as dedicating the roles and responsibilities necessary to complete the appropriate evaluation. Additionally, it will underscore the development of strategy by ensuring provisions of resources and elements necessary to achieve its objectives.
It is worth noting that the SAI was selected among the agencies participating in the pICTure program by the IDI, as it aims to provide necessary support to financial and accounting control agencies in the field of enhancing their ICT governance.
