Clouds continue to cover most governorates of Oman

The Oman Meteorology department has predicted a mix of clear, partly cloudy, and cloudy skies across the country today, July 11.

Muscat – The spread and flow of clouds will cover most governorates today, with low clouds forming over the coasts of the South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar governorates.  

Weather forecast for today indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coast of Dhofar governorate and adjoining mountains with chances of isolated rain and intermittent drizzle.

“Clear to partly cloudy skies with medium and high clouds advection over most of the governorates with chances of isolated rain over South Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta and Dhofar. Chances of convective clouds and isolated thundershowers over Al Hajar Mountains toward afternoon, as well as low-level clouds or fog patches along parts of the coastal areas of Oman Sea and Arabian sea,” states the forecast.

There are also chances of dust rising over desert and open areas.
