HAIMA : Al Wusta Governorate announced that activities of “Al Wusta Summer Fete 2024” will last from 17 July to 5 August.
Sheikh Ahmed Musallam Jidad Al Kathiri, Governor of Al Wusta, said in a press conference that the festival seeks to highlight the Governorate of Al Wusta’s tourism attractions. He pointed out that the programme keeps pace with the influx of visitors and tourist en route to Dhofar Khareef (monsoon) destinations. The programme includes upgrading the services of Haima Entertainment Centre, he added.
Al Khathiri told reporters that Haima Entertainment Centre will host the main the events of “Al Wusta Summer Fete 2024”.

He pointed out that Haima Entertainment Centre will comprise wings for government institutions, children, recreational games, theatre displays, fine art galleries, “Al Badia Tent” to showcase countryside lifestyles, food courts and the Arabian Oryx Reserve.
The stopover also includes public facilities and seating areas to provide comfort for visitors. It will also see the launch of popular events like Al Wusta Summer Camel Race, paragliding, camel rides and equestrian sports.
