Muscat: Over 7,000 ferry passengers and more than 120,000 bus passengers were transported, highlighting the widespread use of public transport during the festive period.
Cargo transport also saw a substantial increase, with Mwasalat handling 1,625 tons of cargo and transferring 1,878 vehicles to meet the demand for both personal and commercial transportation needs.
Specific routes saw significant activity as well. The Shannah-Masirah route alone transported more than 5,900 passengers, emphasizing its popularity among travellers. On the second day of Eid Al Adha, Mwasalat transported over 19,000 passengers, with route 1 (Ruwi – Al Mabela) accounting for 17,800 of those journeys.
