MUSCAT: A music video created by teachers of Indian School Darsait encouraging their students to help them overcome the crushing impact of coronavirus lockdown is going viral.

“We, the ISD Family, continue to stay at home maintaining social distancing in the wake of COVID-19. But, Dear Children, we continue to remain connected with you through our Online Classes,” said the school in a statement.

The song is written by Jaikish Pavithran, ISD SMC President and sung by music teachers of the school. The students also play background score along with the teachers.With schools across Oman are shut due to the coronavirus outbreak, most of them are offering distance education. “It’s not easy for the students to cope with the new system of education. So we decided to come together and create a music video with a message that goes out to everyone,” said a school official.
