Oman’s Shura Council refers draft “Public Health Law”, “Financial Law” to State Council

Muscat: The Shura Council today referred the draft “Public Health Law” and “Financial Law” to the State Council for the draft bills to complete the legislative session.

This took place during the Shura Council’s 11th regular session of the first annual convening (2023-2024) during the tenth term (2023-2027), held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council.

The council also discussed the report of the temporary committee concerned with the job seekers’ file. This resulted in several outcomes and recommendations aimed at boosting the labour market in Oman.

Moreover, the Shura Council will continue its discussions tomorrow (Thursday) during its 12th regular session regarding a number of draft laws referred by the government.
