MUSCAT: The total number of coronavirus cases in Muscat Governorate surged to 1,747 on Friday.
Among the 99 new coronavirus cases reported on Friday, 79 alone comes from Muscat Governorate, taking the total tally to 2,447.
South Al Batinah recorded second highest in the country with 259 cases, however, only four cases were reported today. Of the 1,747 cases in Muscat, 303 patients have recovered.
