MUSCAT: Oman on Thursday convened an extraordinary emergency virtual meeting of Arab foreign ministers to discuss how to prevent Israel’s plans to annex parts of the occupied West Bank.
The meeting was held upon the request of State of Palestine. The meeting chaired by His Excellency Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs over a video conference, discussed providing political, legal and financial support to the Palestinian leadership to confront the Israeli plans.
Alawi urged Arab League ministers to work together to stop the risk of “igniting tension in the region.”
