Muscat – The highest temperatures recorded by the Civil Aviation Authority show most areas crossing the 48 degrees mark.
While Sunaynah, Fahud and Maqshin registered a maximum of 49.3°C, Ibri witnessed a maximum temperature of 48.5°C, followed by Haima and Um Al Zamaim at 48.3°C and Rustaq at 48.2°C.
