Muscat – The session will focus on discussing the Ministry’s statement across five key areas, emphasizing the Ministry’s policies, programs, and strategies in the Sultanate of Oman.
Key features of the Ministry’s statement include International cooperation policies and programs in higher education, vocational training, scientific research, and innovation; the tenth five-year plan, its executive programs, challenges, and higher education trends aligned with Oman Vision 2040; legislation and laws, including the Higher Education Law and its executive regulations; enhancements in the Unified Admission Center, scholarship policies, recognition and equivalence of academic qualifications, and the role of cultural attachés; and policies for private higher education institutions, including licensing, evaluation, employment, Omanization, and government support.
It will also focus on policies for higher vocational education, alignment with labor market needs, academic accreditation, contributions to scientific research and innovation, and Omanisation in vocational institutions.
In addition to the ministerial statement, the sessions will address several draft laws, committee reports, and recommendations from the temporary committee’s study on the job seekers’ file.
