MUSCAT: Bank Muscat has allocated One million Omani Rials to provide necessary medical equipment and supplies in to combat the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country.
“In solidarity with the nation wide efforts to combat the coronavirus (Covid-19), Bank Muscat allocates One Million Omani Rials to provide the necessary medical equipment and supplies in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. We pray to the Almighty Allah to protect our beloved country,” the statement from Bank Muscat said.
On Tuesday, Ministry of Health has opened a special bank account to receive financial donations to deal with corionavirus outbreak following directions from the Supreme Committee.
