Muscat: According to Oman Meteorology, several regions are recording high temperatures. Sunainah led the list with a sweltering 47.5ºC, followed by Hamra ad Duru at 46.5ºC. Maqshin, Al Amerat, and Wadi Al Maawil closely trailed with temperatures of 46.2ºC, 46.1ºC, and 46.1ºC, respectively. Buraimi hit 46ºC, Ibri reached 45.9ºC, and Rustaq recorded 45.6ºC.
While most regions endured scorching heat, Dhalkut recorded a cooler temperature of 21.8ºC.
