MUSCAT: Oman has decided to suspend tourists visas for all countries for one-month starting from March 15, 2020 in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country.
The decision was taken on Thursday by the Supreme Committee appointed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik after they held first meeting.
The meeting headed by His Excellency Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidy, Minister of Interior has also taken several measures including stopping sheeshas in authorized places, stopping all sports activities, as well as, co-curricular activities in schools. The committee also decided to stop the entry of cruise ships to Sultanate’s ports.
