Muscat – The meeting, chaired by H.E. Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs and Chairman of NCEM, was attended by members of the committee, including military commanders.

The focus of the discussion centered on evaluating the national emergency management system’s preparedness and response capabilities. The committee reviewed the level of integration between various sectors involved in emergency situations, aiming to strengthen response measures and protocols for handling exceptional cases.

Lieutenant General Al Shuraiqi expressed his appreciation to the committee members, relevant sectors and subcommittees, along with all concerned parties, for their effective management of past emergencies. He also commended the high level of awareness displayed by Omani citizens and residents in such situations.
