MUSCAT: Oman’s aviation sector has significantly reduced its losses from OMR 211 million to OMR 93 million in 2019, according to His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport.
Addressing the gathering at the ‘Aviation 2030’ strategy unveiling event, Futaisi praises the teams for the remarkable results last year despite the country facing various challenges. “This is a remarkable achievement and I must appreciate the teams behind it,” he said.
According to Futaisi, the aviation sector in the country is aiming for an operational profit of OMR 151 million this year.
