This branch, in collaboration with the Accreditation Office at the General Directorate of Standards and Metrology, will play a pivotal role in implementing the National Accreditation Center’s roadmap. It will also facilitate the process of obtaining international accreditation for conformity assessment bodies, including laboratories, certification bodies, and inspection bodies, that is in line with international standards.
Furthermore, the branch will focus on training and qualifying personnel, ensuring adherence to international recognition criteria, and fostering a pool of highly skilled evaluators to support Oman’s accreditation endeavours on regional and global platforms.
