Muscat: Nesto Hypermarket, the fastest growing retail chain in the region, is set to open its seventh branch in Oman in Salalah on February 24.
Known for its best quality products for lowest price in the city, Nesto will be inaugurated by Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Governor of Dhofar. This is the 76th outlet of Nesto in the GCC.
“With 2.20 lakh sqft, this new hypermarket in Salalah is Nesto’s biggest in the country,” said Shenfeel Vannarath, CEO of Nesto Group in Oman at a press conference held in Muscat on Thursday.

The new Nesto would focus in serving quality products at affordable prices to ensure that a broad cross section of the community around would be able to benefit from its stores.
Focusing on quality, the group endeavors to ensure that there is parity in pricing structures between their other retail outlets.
“We are glad to serve the new location with the best quality and service, we have very wide category of products and services to offer and the price will be competitive,” said Shenfeel said.
According to Shenfeel, Nesto Group plans to increase its outlets to 15 branches by 2021, which includes a second branch in Salalah this year. “We will opening another branch in Sadah in Salalah in April this year,” Shenfeel said.
Apart from this, Nesto also plans to open in Al Ansab, Amerat, Qadirah and seven other wilayats in the country.
Nesto Group currently employees 2,000 employees across its outlets in Oman that includes 30 per cent Omanis.
