Muscat – The Directorate General of Consumer Protection Authority in North Al Batinah Governorate has seized over 5 kilograms of pork from a commercial store.
The store, operating in one of the commercial centers in the governorate, was found to be trading and selling pork without obtaining the necessary license from the competent authorities.
Personnel from the CPA took action against the store, issuing a violation notice and confiscating the illegal goods. The seized items are now set for destruction to prevent their trade.
The authority has emphasized that it will take all necessary legal measures to ensure compliance with regulations and to protect consumers.
