Muscat: Scheduled for next Tuesday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, the event will discuss crucial issues related to “Economic Horticulture and Supporting Omani Companies in the Second Phase.”

The upcoming trade dialogue aims to foster awareness and facilitate the exchange of ideas on economic horticulture, focusing on strategies to bolster local businesses in Oman. Notably, Maimuna bint Sulaiman Al-Adawiya, Director of the Office of the Oman Business Forum and Partnership with the Private Sector at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Investment Promotion, emphasized the significance of economic gardening in supporting second-stage companies.

Al-Adawiya highlighted that economic horticulture supports companies beyond their initial startup phase, offering crucial market insights, competitive intelligence, and digital marketing strategies essential for sustained growth. This approach aligns with Oman’s broader economic diversification efforts, empowering local enterprises to expand, generate employment opportunities, and enhance the nation’s global economic standing.

The dialogue will centre on the economic gardening strategy’s effectiveness in nurturing local second-stage companies, emphasizing their pivotal role in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and bolstering competitiveness within regional economies.

The trade dialogues, comprising six sessions throughout the year, serve as a platform to discuss various trade-related topics, investment opportunities, and developments at both local and international levels.
