MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has ordered the withdrawal of Zordyl mouthwash from shelves due to harmful impurities.
The decision to withdraw the product manufactured by Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) was taken after it failed to comply with GCC specifications.
“The same decision was taken by several other Gulf countries, including the country of orgin,” the statement from MOH said.

The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have already withdrawn the products, after lab test revealed that it contained harmful impurities.
