Muscat: As part of a cultural visit organized by the Chinese Embassy in Oman in collaboration with the Omani Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, MCBS’s student, Abdullah Al Shaibani, among other students has started his cultural visit program taking place in China from 18th April to 2nd May 2024. This enriching journey will offer a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant tapestry of Chinese culture, history, and traditions.
With an itinerary carefully crafted to maximize cultural exchange, educational enrichment, and personal growth, participating students will embark on a transformative adventure across some of China’s most iconic landmarks and cities. From the bustling streets of Beijing to the serene landscapes of Guilin, each destination will offer a distinct perspective on the rich heritage and contemporary dynamism of China.
The visit’s program includes visiting several cultural institutions, educational institutions, and touristic sites. There will be an opportunity as well to learn the basics of the Chinese Language and to practice some of the most famous Chinese traditional games with Chinese people in typical Chinese neighborhoods. The purpose is to provide opportunities to engage in a diverse range of activities designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.

Through this immersive cultural exchange, students will not only deepen their understanding of China but also cultivate invaluable skills in cross-cultural communication, adaptability, and global citizenship. By fostering friendships across borders and embracing diversity, participants will lay the groundwork for a more interconnected and harmonious world.
