Muscat: Cinepolis and Vox Cinemas have already begun accepting bookings, signalling a surge in anticipation among moviegoers. This comes after the film faced hurdles in its GCC release, with Bahrain recently lifting the ban and joining the UAE in showcasing this gripping tale to audiences. Notably, the movie features Omani actor Dr. Talib Al Balushi in a significant role.

“Aadujeevitham,” directed by Blessy, has garnered widespread attention for its poignant narrative following the journey of a Malayali labourer ensnared by a sponsor in a Saudi Arabian desert during the 1990s. Despite initial challenges with securing screenings in major GCC markets, including Oman, the film has persevered and is now set to captivate regional audiences.

The lifting of the ban in Bahrain on April 3 marked a turning point, allowing audiences to experience the film’s powerful storytelling. Following suit, Qatar welcomed the movie last week, expanding its reach in the Arab cinema landscape. “Aadujeevitham” is being screened in three Gulf countries, including the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.

The film’s success extends beyond its gripping narrative, as it has shattered box office records for Malayalam cinema. With an Indian gross collection surpassing Rs 60 crores and a global collection exceeding Rs 100 crores, “Aadujeevitham” is poised to set new benchmarks, potentially surpassing recent industry blockbusters like “Manjummel Boys.”
