Oman Air cancels over 400 flights this month

The cancellations of flights comes amid grounding all 737 MAX planes.

MUSCAT: Oman Air has cancelled over 400 flights this month following the decision by the Sultanate’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation to ground all 737 MAX planes until safety issues are addressed by aircraft makers Boeing.

The cancellations affect flights to Amman, Athens, Bangkok, Delhi, Dubai, Jaipur, Mumbai, Nairobi, Salalah and Tehran. Passengers have been advised to check the status of their flights.

In a statement issued online, Oman Air said:
“We are rebooking guests on alternative / next available flights to their destinations. We advise all our guests who are due to travel during the same period to check the flight status or contact our call centre +96824531111.”
