MUSCAT : Heavy rainfall swept across many parts of the country on Sunday morning as people returned to work following a five-day long Eid Al Fitr break.
Residents across Muscat were in for a delight after rains took over in many parts of the city.
In a morning bulletin issued by the Oman Meteorology Department said: “Flow of thunderstorm cells of varying intensity over parts of the governorates of Muscat, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah and Al Dakhiliyah, with continued chances of rainfall of varying intensity that will be thundery at times during the coming hours.”
