MUSCAT: Iran’s foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian thanked His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for playing an important role in strengthening regional cooperation.
Addressing a press conference during his visit to Muscat on Sunday, Amirabdollahian also said both Tehran and Muscat has agreed “the Israeli war must be stopped immediately and humanitarian aid must be sent.”
Meanwhile, Oman’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi said the Sultanate has urged Iran to support its efforts in reducing escalation in the region and address various issues and conflicts as a result of the Israeli aggression in Gaza.
