Muscat – The court found the representatives of the establishment guilty of the misdemeanor of refraining from providing the agreed-upon service. Consequently, a fine of RO 2000 was imposed on the establishment, with RO 600 required to be paid immediately, while the remainder is suspended. However, the establishment was acquitted of the misdemeanor related to the failure to provide the service properly and in accordance with its nature.
Additionally, the court ruled that the establishment is obligated to cover the expenses of the public lawsuit. It’s important to note that the court clarified its lack of jurisdiction to consider civil claims associated with the case.
