Muscat: The program, designed to nurture between 10 and 20 startup companies annually, will focus on key areas including oil, petrochemicals, and alternative energy over a 6-month period. Central to the initiative is OQ’s commitment to offering expertise and guidance from industry specialists, ensuring emerging companies receive the necessary support to flourish.
In addition to mentorship, the program will provide vital financing opportunities and the potential for OQ to become a strategic partner in successful ventures by acquiring stakes in promising startups.
OQ’s emphasis on supporting research and innovation aligns with its broader mission of leveraging modern technologies to address sector challenges. Over 2,200 SMEs and institutions are already registered in its supply system.
