MUSCAT : Emphasizing the importance of preserving the nation’s identity, the ministry has highlighted specific regulations to be followed.
The ministry has stated that it is strictly prohibited to embroider the royal emblem or the official emblem of the state on garment sleeves without prior permission. Additionally, shops are warned against embroidering symbols or phrases that are deemed inappropriate or offensive to public taste, symbols that violate Islamic law, sports club logos, trademarks, pictures of people and animals.
