MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Friday arrested two citizens for publishing “incorrect information” on social media regarding a road accident in Nizwa.
In a statement issued, ROP said Al Dhakiliyah Governorate Police Command arrested the citizens “for violating the law on combating information technology crimes by publishing incorrect information on social media. Legal procedures against them,” ROP added.
