MUSCAT : The event at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre was attended by dignitaries, honorees, government officials, private sector representatives, businessmen, and endowment sector enthusiasts; it highlighted the foundation’s mission.

In his address, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al Khalili, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, outlined its dual focus: presenting Islam’s essence to non-Muslims and nurturing new Muslims, alongside showcasing Omani civilization globally. He stressed Oman’s historical role in standing for truth and supporting the oppressed, making it a subject of scholarly interest worldwide.
Emphasizing the foundation’s commitment to fostering sustainable financial sources, Sheikh Al Khalili underscored the significance of collaboration between public and private sectors, as well as individual philanthropists. He lauded the cooperation demonstrated by companies and institutions in supporting the foundation’s initiatives.
The ceremony featured a visual presentation on the foundation’s objectives and a speech by His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Kahlan bin Nabhan Al Kharousi, Assistant Grand Mufti of Oman, who highlighted the importance of institutional support for the foundation’s endeavors.
The event concluded with the recognition of companies and institutions supporting the endowment institution. The Hidayah Endowment Foundation aims to finance projects promoting Islam and cultural exchange, fostering scientific communication, and showcasing Omani society’s cultural contributions on a global scale.
